How to get a short-term rental approved
Every county, city, and town writes its own short-term rental rules. Each guide below answers the same questions for one place: which permit you need, what it costs, who decides, what the home must have, and which lodging taxes you owe. Virginia
- Fauquier County, VirginiaAdministrative Permit, $165, then $82.50 a year or Special Permit, $1,100
